Founded in 1850, The Gunnery is a coeducational, college-preparatory school dedicated to developing a thorough readiness for higher education. A highly skilled, experienced, and committed faculty serves a student population of 300 in grades 9-Post Graduate in small classes, on the athletic fields, and in the dormitories. On a uniquely safe and scenic campus of 220 acres in the hills of western Connecticut, students and faculty alike enjoy superb facilities and a rich variety of extracurricular activities, including both fine and performing arts.
